Parenting Classes!

The New Life Center offers parenting classes for parents, grandparents, and care takers of all ages!

How does it work?

  1. Make an appointment with us! You can do this either by phone, email, or by clicking "book now" on our website.

  2. Fill out your intake paper work: upon arrival we will have you fill out some paper work so that we can have more information about you in order to serve you best.

  3. Our assistant director or a member of client services will select a curriculum based on your needs. These can depend on your child's age, current issues you may be facing in parenthood, or your interests.

  4. Enjoy your class!

Support Groups!

Every Tuesday : 4 pm - 5 pm

Our support groups offer an awesome opportunity for parents to gain education in dealing with tough issues or situations that arise in parenthood and just life in general. We will be addressing topics such as addiction, grief, anxiety, relationships, stress management, and so much more!

Our goal for these groups is to equip parents in facing, coping, and communicating through these various topics and to build a sense of community between each other and the New Life Center.

Our services are free of charge.

Earn while you learn!

Our earn while you learn program is a great way to learn while also earning points to use in our boutique upstairs! As an incentive for attending parenting classes and support groups, we offer points that can be used to exchange for personal and child-related supplies. These can include clothes, diapers, wipes, shampoo, laundry detergent, baby-needs, bottles, etc.

Court Approved!

The Court-Approved Program is offered by The New Life Center free of charge and gives you the opportunity to develop parenting and coping skills in a program approved by our local court system.

Any parent that has been ordered by the court system or DCBS, has an open CPS case, or has had their lawyer suggest they take parenting classes participates in our Court-Approved Program.

If you need services beyond what we provide, we can recommend and refer you to additional organizations for further assistance.
